Welcome aboard Dashboard Jesus Christ! I am a Presbyterian pastor, author, husband, father, and most recently grandpa! I am privileged to serve as the pastor of Woodlawn Chapel Presbyterian Church in suburban St. Louis, MO.  I'm glad you've stopped by and hope you  some of these reflections on faith and life resonate with you.

From the age of 10, I lived in La Verne, California, home to the University of La Verne, where I studied journalism.  At one time, ULV's super tents (right) were the home of the school's award-winning Campus Times newspaper. Later on, I attended Princeton Theological Seminary and Saint Paul School of Theology.

Stories of life and faith are snapshots of God's grace. Like flowers ready to bloom, these stories hold potential. Stories are beauty  in the making, and I hope to capture some of those on this blog, sometimes partnered with  my own photographs.

I'm a regular contributor to  "The Immediate Word," by CSS Publishing,  and have written for denominational publications as well as the St. LOuis Post-Dispatch Faith Perspectives column.  In addition, I've written a book of sermons on  caring for creation ("Charged With Granduer,") and am coauthor of an Advent devotional ("The Road to Hallelujah." ) Other interests pursuing certification as a credentialed life coach, and volunteering as a police chaplain.
